I enjoyed getting out with my granddaughter, Liz for some photo time at Salem Lake Park. I live close to Winston Salem but have never been there. After a chat with the park rangers, Liz and I walked down to the lake beyond the boat ramps. There was a small area there with lots of Canada Geese and a few other types of water fowl. We didn’t have time to take the trail the park ranger told us about. So, we made the most of that small area. The lake is beautiful.
