Louan and I decided to go on a photo excursion in and around the rural area of Browns Summit. Louan rides as lookout while I do the driving and take the photos. On this trip, we turned down a narrow country road to photograph a windmill Louan had spotted on in a pasture. She also spotted a turkey vulture sitting on a fence post. In order to take his picture, I had to go past him and turn around so I could take his picture from the car. He decided to give us a show by spreading his wings. Actually he wasn’t showing off but was spreading his wings to allow the sun to kill any bacteria that might have gotten on him.
Here are some of the other photographs we took.
